A Collection of My Favorite Things
(as I continue to think of them I'll update them)

Food: (obviously this comes first!)

~MEAT DISH = Beef Wellingtons (So I actually haven't ever tried this in a restaurant, but my own homemade version suffices enough for me)

~SALAD = apple, cranberry, and candied walnut (or any similar salad with fruits and nuts in it)

~DINER FOOD = Strawberry Malt and Burger

~PASTA DISH = something like a vegetable and chicken alfredo, or a mushroom and pancetta alfredo

~PIZZA TOPPINGS = it's a tie between ham + pineapple, and pepperoni + mushroom + green pepper

~THAI DISH = Pad See Ew (Thai noodle dish, awesome flavor)

~JAPANESE DISH = Vegetable Tempura, Teriyaki Chicken

~CHINESE DISH = Kung Pao Chicken, Veggie Chow Fun or General Tso's Chicken, oh... I also like Mu Shu Pork :)

~VEGETABLES = Cauliflower, Corn, Broccoli, Sweet Potatoes, Cabbage, Carrots, Edamame Beans, Cannelini Beans

~FRUITS = can I say all of them? The only fruit I've met that I HAVEN'T liked is a papaya. Maybe it was a fluke, but the flavor just didn't do it for me. If I had to pick, I'd say blueberries are my favorite, mainly because they are so versatile. You can use them in anything! I'm also a huge fan of green apples, bananas, plantains, raspberries, and white peaches

~DESSERTS = Oh god, how can I pick? I'm not really a pie person, but I love cake. Give me any type of cake and I'll eat it. I'm also the biggest ice cream fan. I love mint chip, cookies and cream, and raspberry chocolate. I've recently grown an obsession with rice pudding too.

~DRINKS = Well I love Pina Coladas, but they are sooo loaded in sugar and calories. I like Coconut Lime martinis. My favorite NON-alcoholic drinks would be raspberry mochas. Runners up would be pumpkin lattes and peppermint mochas. I hate soda.

~HERB = cilantro or basil, it's a tie

~NUTS = pistachios, almonds, walnuts

~FLAVORINGS = cinnamon, nutmeg, spicy peppers, bourbon, anise, cumin, maple, rum

~SNACK = ants on a log (celery, peanut butter, raisins/jelly) I love substituting jelly for the raisins, but then the snack can no longer be called ants on a log... more like a PBJ log!

~MISC. SNACKS = marshmallows, raisins, goldfish, dry cereal (love bran flakes and fiber one!), dried blueberries and cherries, dark chocolate

Books:
~For COOKING = The Flavor Bible (not really a recipe book, but more of a listing of what ingredients you can pair together for awesome flavor)

~For FANTASY = well I love the Harry Potter series in general, if you haven't read them I suggest you do. A hidden gem that I found when I was younger however is The Sight by David Clement-Davies. It's about a wolf pack and the adventures and struggles they go through, I cried at the end when I was little. Be prepared though, the book is quite big

~For CLASSICS = Bram Stoker's Dracula, H.G. Wells's The Invisible Man, Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, and Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre

~For POETRY = Paradise Lost by John Milton (I don't consider myself religious however I really enjoyed this very long poem about Satan)

~For LAUGHTER = the Stephanie Plum Series by Janet Evanovich (the seemingly never-ending book series that colorfully stands out in any bookstore, you can't miss them!) Be Warned!: for Mature audiences only ;)

~For TRUE STORIES = Lucky by Alice Sebold, My Life in France by Julia Child

~For CHILDREN'S BOOK = lol I know right? Stone Fox by John Reynolds Gardiner

Movies:
~Mr. and Mrs. Smith = it's cheesy, but it's action packed with sexual tension and I love it

~Stranger Than Fiction = for a Will Ferrell movie, I thought the balance between humor and seriousness was really good.

~The Dark Knight = batman fan forever :)

~Just Friends = goofy, funny, hilarious

~Changeling = really heartbreaking story that is sad, but moving

~Penny Serenade = adorable, but sad black and white

~Tombstone = my favorite western!

~A Fistful of Dollars = classic western with Clint Eastwood (personally I like this one better than the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly)
